Norfolk School Leaders' Updates

Our Norfolk School Leaders' updates are open to all education leaders in Norfolk free of charge and regardless of setting or phase. On the occasion that there are phase specific items, the agenda will be divided as per the example below. These meetings provide a termly opportunity to come out of school and look at the system as a whole in the company of your peers, with the opportunity to discuss and/or hear about topical issues impacting on the education system, settings and their leaders.

We invite a variety of partners to speak at these events, not limited to the Local Authority, Health, Police, Teaching School Hubs and other local and national providers in the education sector, including Ofsted and the Regional Directors office to name but a few. Agenda items focus on strategic school leadership and management, providing an overview of the current landscape and signposting to relevant initiatives and information, as well as having frequent opportunities to feed into and help design and develop programmes across the county and to keep abreast of what is on the horizon.

Not only are these meetings a fantastic opportunity to receive information and ask questions, but they are also an excellent opportunity to share with and support your colleagues from across the county, fostering mutual beneficial relationships. We ensure plenty of time to have a coffee and absorb the information that has been shared, as well as to sit and talk with colleagues from across the county, broadening you understanding of the challenges and implications of the various agenda items throughout Norfolk.
