Every Headteacher in Norfolk is automatically a tier 1 member of Educate Norfolk. This entitles them to: 

  • Robust and informed representation by Headteachers and senior education leaders on meetings with key partners, including Norfolk County Council, Norfolk MPs, DfE, Headteacher Associations in the East, unions and more.
  • Key updates on news and issues that affect your school via email and regular newsletters.
  • Opportunity to network with Headteachers, Executive Headteachers, SLT members and MAT CEOs from a variety of settings right across Norfolk our regular meetings and leadership updates.
  • Opportunity to hear from key partners, including Norfolk Police, Norfolk County Council, Regional Schools Commissioner, Educator Solutions, charities, CPD and education services providers at our termly leadership updates and via our newsletter.
  • Our website will be formally launched in June 2019. This has been designed by Headteachers for Headteachers to be the place to go for all the information you need, over the next few months you will see a rapid growth in the information available here.
  • Invitation to work with other primary and secondary leaders on key Norfolk issues.

You can then chose to become a tier 2 member, which includes additional benefits across the year. 

  • Our partnership with The Key since 2018, providing information guidance and support for all Norfolk Headteachers and their senior teams. We are able to offer you 12 months complimentary subscription and highly subsidised rates for a further two years.
  • Preferential rates for workshops, events and conferences.
  • Access to member only thematic groups (these are developed and run by a Headteacher or Senior Leader with a passion in a particular area/issue)

Membership costs are based on pupil numbers and can be seen on the PDF document above. Membership is considered accurate We have finance support from Mrs Tina Rutland every Friday morning, so please allow several days for your invoice to arrive.

Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf and Country Club, Beech Avenue, Taverham, Norwich, NR8 6HP.

This meeting is 8:15am-11am (with refreshments) - 4th March 2020

Primary leaders also have the opportunity to attend a meeting in the second half of each term in 2019-2020. Due to the number of primary leaders, we currently offer this in 4 different locations;
